Round 2 featured challenge
The Beat-Switch Challenge puts every dancer’s adaptability, personality, and musical instincts on display through four surprise music changes.
Each competitor begins with a song or style suited to her routine. After approximately 60–90 seconds, the DJ abruptly switches to a completely different genre. She must adapt immediately and continue performing without stopping or restarting.
One complete performance featuring four surprise switches and many different music vibes.
The dancer performs across many different music vibes during the six-minute set.
Every transition counts. Recovery, confidence, and instant adaptation are part of the challenge.
The dancer will not know exactly when any of the four switches are coming.

Placement order only. Point totals are not publicly displayed.

Friday, August 21 • 9 PMLast opportunity to improve placement before the finals field is selected.
Friday, September 4 • 9 PMTop competitors battle for the title and championship prize package.
Friday, September 18 • 9 PMChampionship prize package
Eligibility remains subject to participation, paperwork, event rules, and final management approval.
